Texas Emergency Aid Program

The Texas Higher Education Foundation, in partnership with Greater Texas Foundation and Trellis Foundation, launched the Texas Emergency Aid Grant Program in the spring of 2020 to assist college and university students across Texas during the COVID-19 crisis.

With additional support from the Kresge Foundation, Powell Foundation, and Charles Butt Foundation, as well as private donors, the Texas Emergency Aid Grant Program delivered almost $1.25 million to 86 public and private institutions of higher education.

Now we are collecting data on how these funds, which institutions  distributed to their students in need, helped Texans continue working toward their post-secondary education goals
