Contribute Now to Support Texas Students Through and Beyond the COVID-19 Pandemic
Each of us is experiencing the uncertainty and disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. For more than one million college students across Texas, this challenge comes at a time that is pivotal to their future. It is particularly devastating for those who were already struggling to make ends meet.
“Across Texas, thousands of college students are affected by campus closures due to coronavirus disruptions. Many students face housing and food insecurity and are at high risk of dropping out,” says Commissioner of Texas Higher Education Harrison Keller.
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, in partnership with the Texas Higher Education Foundation, launched the Texas Emergency Aid Grant Program to support students through this challenging time and ensure they are able to continue their education.
Please join us today in meeting students’ needs by donating to our Texas Emergency Aid Grant Program. Your contribution will support rapid-response block grants to colleges and universities, enabling them to disperse much-needed funds directly to students. These funds will complement and supplement the federal funds recently allocated through the CARES Act.
